FARMERS & GRAZIERS

CRATER hosts regular field days and workshops highlighting regenerative agriculture and restorative land management practices.

Goondicum Station is a 5th-generation cattle property where restorative land management decisions have resulted in healthy countryside raising high-quality, high-profit animals. The property is an example of how farming and conservation can co-exist successfully to enhance a profitable grazing business.

WHAT IS REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURE?

Regenerative agriculture is a system of farming principles and practices that seeks to rehabilitate and enhance the entire ecosystem of the farm by improving its resources, rather than destroying or depleting them.

By applying the principles of regenerative agriculture, Australian native flora and fauna are able to flourish and co-exist alongside cattle in a healthy and productive landscape.

We have been granted access to Goondicum Station, where conservation and high production are coexisting. We run a number of workshops and field-days at this location to assist farmers and graziers to learn more about regenerative farming practices. The proof is in the pasture!
